Training 2007/08

Club training will take place between 6.45pm and 8.15pm on Wednesday evenings at Bretton Gate. All abilities and any newcomers are invited to attend.

Training for the 1st and 2nd squads will be between 7.45pm and 9.30pm.

Club training finishes for the 2007/08 season on Wednesday 19th March, and finishes for 1sts/2nds on the 26th March.

Sponsors

National Windscreens are the new shirt sponsors for the 2007/08 season. They have also provided us with tops to wear off the hockey pitch, look out for the photos soon.

2007/08 Fixtures

The fixtures for the 2007/08 season are loaded onto the site, check the individual team pages for updates of times etc.
The Ida Hassell was held at the club on Sunday 9th September, with City of Peterborough finishing as runners up to Wisbech.
The 2nd team tournament on Sunday 16th September was won by Bourne.

Sponsorship

The ladies section are always looking for new ways of raising money, so if you have any ideas or would be interested in sponsoring the ladies, please let a committee member know.

Bag Packing

The bag packing events are organised to raise money for the ladies section of the hockey club.

Friday 13th October 2006 - Sainsbury's, Bretton, P'boro. 4pm-7pm.
A huge thank you to all those involved, Kate Houghton, Ellie Houghton, Fran Houghton, Megan Sharpe, Becca Sharpe, Sam Hiles and Vicki Cliffe. And thank you to Shirley Rawlings and Claire Pateman for assisting. Thank you to Kate Houghton who did a fantastic job with organising this event. We raised a total of £250 which will go a long way.


Friday March 30th 2007 - Morrisons, Lincoln Road, P'boro. 4pm-8pm.
Well done to Kate Houghton, Ellie Houghton, Fran Houghton, Megan Sharpe, Jess Jacobs, Lou Wright, Pip Meakin, Georgina Wilkinson, Jenny Cade, Sam Hiles, Emma Faux, Tasha Fallowfield and Claire Pateman. We raised £310, which will subsidise the cost of shirts for these players.


Friday November 23rd 2007 - Asda, P'boro. - 4pm-8pm
Well done to Lou Wright, Jenny Cade, Caitlin Massey, Kate Houghton, Ellie Houghton, Georgie Wilson, Zoe Hodgson, Jocelyn Hurcombe, Sorcha Brivio-Stone, Caroline Eyre, Georgie Ivens. We raised £330 for the club!!

Congratulations

Congratulations go to Shirley Rawlings, who has been awarded a life membership of Peterborough Town Sports Club. This award is long overdue, and is to thank Shirley for her huge contribution to the club.

Member Registration Form

By now most players have completed a member registration form. For those of you that haven't, please do so as soon as possible.
The forms can be found on the club notice board, and can be returned completed, to the same place.
Alternativey, if you have previously completed a form, but have since changed address/phone number etc, it is your responsibility to let us know your updated details. Please complete a new form as soon as possible.
Please note, your details will not be given to third parties. Personal details will be held on a central database, to be used by club personnel only.
